high level power reserve on 2 and 3 bank P1000 VSR systems

In normal use both low and high level service batteries operates as a single battery bank. Should the low level service battery bank become flooded, the high level battery is isolated. Providing a high level power reserve for navigation, communication and electronics.

The system is activated by either water level via a float switch, or low battery voltage, providing dual protection. The remote control panel provides audio / visual alarm, with alarm mute, and manual control. If the water level falls, or battery voltage rises, the batteries are automatically reconnected.

Analogue current shunts can be fitted as a integrated part of the P1000 VSR range.

This allows monitoring of both volts and amps with no additional installation work, and only a 4 or 6 way data cable required to feed analogue meters. The sensor on the VSR is common to all analogue meter ranges. The meter drive module installed by the analogue meters, converts the signal to the required value. This can be to suit either the current range, such as 50-0-50, or the meter full scale voltage, 50 mV, 75 mV etc.

Low voltage battery protection option on P1000

This has always been standard on the P4000 range, and is now available pre-assembled on the P1000 range. Allowing non critical loads to be isolated at a low battery level, providing both a power reserve and improved battery life. The system is supplied with the standard, or mini remote control panel.

The basic panel has the same switches as the existing panel, with the output layout also the same for ease of replacement. The switch panel is supplied with a new up-rated split charge relay unit.

Also available is a up-rated switch panel that offers 19 circuit breakes, ammeter bar-graph, fresh water tank level gauge, and a 100 amp split charge module with emergency link start, but the same footprint.
