Dual source power modules provide a supply to critical equipment from two independent battery banks.

These units are the opposite to a split charge blocking diode, instead of taking a supply and splitting it to 2 batteries, this unit takes the feed from 2 batteries and combines it into one supply. Power will be drawn from the battery bank at the higher terminal voltage. This provides a second or back-up power source for critical equipment, as well as avoiding volt drop or spikes when a service battery is also used for engine starting.
